About ASK:

ASK is the oldest Viking battle re-enactment group in Scandinavia. We are a very mixed bunch of warriors with varied backgrounds. Common to all of us, though, is a strong interest in the Viking age and especially in fighting with the weapons of that time. We train twice a week using copies of Viking weapons and we hold craft weekends and of course parties, whenever possible. We train using several styles - competition-orientated martial arts and a more spectacular show-style (see under Combat). As a fighting group, we would like to make it clear that we have nothing to do with politics or religion, and anyone with a police record involving violence can not become a member. ASK is based around Århus, Jutland.

During the summer, we are to be found at various Viking markets, primarily in Denmark, but also many other places around the world, and we also offer shows of various types (see Markets, Shows).

We are proud of the quality of our fighting shows and handicrafts and are extremely willing to display this, whether it is at a lecture, team-building courses for a company, museum show, children's birthday or a party! (Contact).
