What We Can Offer:

In ASK our goal is to excel fighting with viking weapons and to further interest in, and knowledge of, the Viking age. We train hard with our weapons, make equipment and learn from one another. We are passionate about this and for many of us, it is more of a lifestyle than a hobby. This means we are very willing to offer various services to interested parties.

For over a decade, we have performed fighting displays, and taught and entertained using everything we know about the Viking age. Throughout the summer we take part in various museum-sponsored Viking events performing fighting shows, and doing craft displays - and we love it! (see Markets).

Our experience here means we can tailor an event to encompass pretty much any special requirements that the audience or sponsor might have; there is of course a world of difference between how we would entertain a kindergarten and plan an event for a large corporation.

What can we offer for schools and courses?

We have a lot of experience in bringing the Viking age to life for children, who can be one of the most difficult, though rewarding, audiences. As we care very much about the authenticity of our equipment and lifestyle, we believe we are able to reenact living history such that it can be experienced with all senses. Swords and axes should be swung against shields, clothes worn, Viking games played, and food prepared over the fire.

We offer, for example, both lectures and larger events including workshops and the like, and guarantee high quality, lively entertainment, supported by a thorough background knowledge of the Viking age, delivered in a memorable fashion.

Pupils and audiences can learn about the Viking age in a much more hands on fashion than with normal teaching methods. If you are interested in any of this, then you are of course welcome to Contact us, and we will create an event that is perfect for you.

Corporate Entertainment:

Our primary entertainment activity is the good old fighting show, which we have many years of experience with. Of course there are many variations within this category, so we can organise this according to our own and our audiences wishes.

We have taken part in company parties, sponsored events, summer parties, biker meetings, and international sales promotions. At such events we mingle in our Viking gear and entertain guests by holding various competitions such as archery, greasy stick and so on. We can also do practical things such as serving / waiting on tables and create a good and entertaining atmosphere. We find it hard to leave an event, however, without performing a violent and realistic fighting show!
